En el año 2006, Samia Zumout sintió la llamada de Dios y dejó su exitosa profesión de abogada para dedicarse a ser misionera. Desde entonces, ella ha evangelizado el amor sanador de Dios a través del ministerio de sanación interior, orando en eventos públicos y de forma individual para la sanación de  las heridas emocionales de la niñez. En el año 2011, su profunda fe y amor por nuestro Señor Jesucristo se pusieron a prueba cuando fue diagnosticada con horribles enfermedades que han atacado agresivamente su espina dorsal: esclerosis múltiple progresiva primaria, estenosis cervical, y mielopatía. En corto tiempo, se encontró incapacitada--sin poder caminar, escribir o cuidar de sus necesidades más básicas--sufriendo constante dolor y debilitándose generalmente. A pesar de su severa incapacidad, Samia nunca perdió su alegría por la vida ni su paz interior; su fe implacable perseveró y se hizo más fuerte. Ella ha continuado desinteresadamente su misión de ayudar a otros a través de su programa de radio y medios de comunicación social.La historia de Samia inspira a otros a mirar los sufrimientos y desafíos de su propia vida a través de los ojos espirituales que arrojan la luz a lo más importante, dando propósito y valor a las cosas que no parecen tener sentido en nuestro mundo físico.  

About the Author
Samia Zumout nació en Jordania en una familia católica. Su familia emigró a los EU en 1983, cuando ella tenía 13 años. Samia asistió a UC Davis y recibió doble licenciatura en Relaciones Internacionales y francés. Recibió su Doctorado de la Escuela de Leyes de USF. Samia domina cuatro idiomas: inglés, árabe, español y francés.En 1990, después que Samia estudió en Francia por un año, viajó a Medjugorje, un pueblo en Bosnia-Herzegovina donde nuestra Santísima Madre María, supuestamente, ha aparecido diariamente desde 1981.Su experiencia en Medjugorje fue un momento crucial en la vida de Samia ya que experimentó de una manera tan profunda el amor inmenso de nuestro Señor Jesús por ella. Esto fue también el principio de su jornada de sanación interior y su ministerio de oración que la llevó a ser un instrumento del amor sanador de Dios para Sus hijos. En junio 2006, Samia sintió un deseo fuerte de escribir su autobiografía, El Puente entre el Este y el Oeste: Una Jornada a la Verdad a través de Su Amor.En el 2011, Samia fue diagnosticada con enfermedades que han atacado asu espina dorsal: esclerosis múltiple progresiva, estenosis cervical, y mielopatía. Se encontró incapacitada--sin poder caminar, escribir o cuidar de sus necesidades más básicas--y sufriendo constante dolor. Ella nunca perdió su alegría por la vida ni su paz interior y su fe perseveró y creció más fuerte. Ella ha continuado su misión de ayudar a otros a través de su programa de radio "Sanación del Alma" en Radio Santísimo Sacramento y Facebook.En el otoño del 2014, Samia sintió el llamado de escribir su segundo libro, Entrega Total a la Voluntad de Dios. Con la gracia de Dios, ella lo escribió en dos meses con su dedo pulgar derecho en su teléfono iPhone.
